FILO sustainability

A close bond under the banner of excellence unites Filo (The International Trade Show of Yarns and Fibers) and Milano Unica, both following the very progress of the supply chain. The upstream proposals of the supply chain, with the highest quality yarns and materials, represent the basis of the high-end fabrics presented at Milano Unica.

The link between the two trade shows is particularly evident when the focus is sustainability. For several editions, Filo has been presenting FiloFlow, a project dedicated to yarns made through environmentally and socially sustainable manufacturing processes. FiloFlow is a supply chain tracking project, where sustainability is inextricably linked to traceability and synergies along the production   chain.

The hub dedicated to this new opportunity occupies a space close to the Sostenibilità Creativa FW 25-25 area and will be accessible for the three days of the trade show. There are four visors available and dedicated staff.

MU VINTAGE

For several years, Milano Unica has been featuring a VINTAGE Area showcasing timeless but still modern items for the benefit of its visitors. The area includes vintage dresses and suits, bags, trimmings, buttons, bijoux items, scarves, vintage fabrics and accessories of various kinds that enhance the excellence of fashion and style with a refined aesthetic taste.

Starting from this edition, the VINTAGE Area will be close to the Sostenibilità Creativa FW 24-25 Area in Hall 1, to underscore the sustainable value of these items and increase the relevance of garment reuse and the concept of circularity. Items can be passed on to others, contributing to a valuable generational transition.

The companies that will open their archives of excellence are:
