HUMAN-CENTRIC PERFORMANCE TEXTILES 5.0: THE FUTURE OF TECHNICAL TEXTILES AT MILANO UNICA 43
Smart materials, digital technologies, and advanced solutions come together in the Innovation Area Forum to present a new human-centric vision of technical textiles
On the occasion of the 43rd edition of Milano Unica, the Forum Innovation Area, organized by TexClubTec—the technical textiles division of Confindustria Moda—presents “Human-Centric Performance Textiles 5.0,” a new contemporary paradigm for the sector.
The theme examines the evolution of advanced manufacturing from a human-centric perspective, in which smart materials, integrated protection, and digital technologies combine to form systems designed around the individual.
The exhibition unfolds across four interconnected themes: adaptive materials and solutions for comfort and thermoregulation; high-performance fabrics and structures for protection and durability; smart surfaces and functional components; and digital technologies for traceability, validation, and process optimization.
The area offers an integrated vision of technical textiles as an advanced infrastructure, capable of combining performance, safety, sustainability, and data, in line with the principles of Transition 5.0.
