Milano Unica presents the best of high end textiles and accessories for women’s and men’s apparel: the crossroads where premium raw materials and technological innovation meet the tradition and creativity of the leading Italian and European producers.
The trade show offers an exclusive perspective on the best product categories for the A/W 2019-20 collections: from classic materials like cotton, wool and linen, either pure or in blends, to more contemporary proposals, like high-tech performance textiles. Textiles for luxury shirting and leisurewear, original and classic denims, natural and man-made fabrics, embroidery, lace, artisanal tulle, knits and jerseys of all kinds, art prints and precious silks.
The range of accessories is variegated and complete, including textiles, buttons, zippers, ribbons, lace and appliqués: one of a kind pieces, crafted and perfected in the sign of manufacturing excellence, conceived for finishing products and personalizing items of high end apparel.
The "Tendenze" Area is an original, one off project: this is where Milano Unica presents the proposals inspired by the “Nations to Nations” theme, in the wake of the Tendenze presentation of 28 March 2018.
Milano Unica also continues to promote the topic of sustainability: following the success registered in the February edition, in July the Sustainability area returns, featuring textiles and accessories produced using certified materials and processes.
The Korea and Japan Observatories provide an inside peek at the most important trends and productions from the Far East, while the Origin Passion and Beliefs Trade Show presents Italian small and mid-sized manufacturers specialized in subcontracting and high quality services.
