Use the Existing: the Zegna sustainability campaign

A concrete commitment to reducing production waste
The Market - MU Sustainable Innovation

The valorization of production tailings as new raw materials is a growing trend, increasingly involving classic fashion houses as well. The most recent example is Zegna, which at Pitti Uomo presented #UseTheExisting, a project targeting the use of wool and technical fibers made from production waste. The symbol of this initiative is the Achill suit, made entirely with wool from the Achill Farm Zegna, in Australia, originally production tailings that were reconstituted and woven to create a new product.
