The collaboration between Milano Unica and TheCube Archive is an ever-evolving project.

It began with a book, which later became an exhibition, an installation, and a music video.

In the SS 2026/27 edition, the project entered a fully digital dimension: six trend drop videos were projected onto twelve vertically suspended screens. A technological immersion that broke with traditional conventions and served as a provocation.

Subsequently, the project returned to analog, featuring 24 looks, each designed to engage with the FW 2026/27 Tendenze — Performing Space, Performing Bodies, and Performing Art — while also challenging their boundaries.

A first step toward creative renewal grounded in emotion, research, technology, and empathy.

For Milano Unica FW 2027/28, TheCube Archive takes shape as an immersive and theatrical space, where the Tendenze —Classic is Punk, Freestyle is Punk, Romance is Punk—are interwoven and transformed into a single system of exploration.

A language that rejects serial perfection in favor of instability, imperfection, and irreproducibility. Twenty-four “Silent Entities 2.3” are arranged in a circle.

The bodies face inward, creating an intimate, silent tension. Those who enter the space become part of the scene: they observe and are observed. Within this system, elegance is a constantly negotiated balance among structure, body, and matter.

In a time marked by instability—wars, inflation, energy crises, and inequality—this project reflects on fashion as a space of resistance. A place where garments, accessories, textures, and finishes become tools for generating meaning, care, and vision.

Mixing materials, punk attitudes, and theatricality means redefining the act of dressing: no longer about function but about expression.

TheCube Archive is an immersive space where emotion and empathy become an act of poetic and visual resistance that cuts through chaos, transforming it into language and opening up to a more cultural fashion.

Classic is Punk!

Tailoring perfection is pushed to the limits of endurance.

The rules remain visible, but they begin to give way. Lines vibrate, alignments shift, proportions stretch. The classic is a system under pressure, an unstable elegance in which error is inevitable. Each element retains its identity and precision yet loses balance: the pinstripe no longer aligns, the structure no longer contains, the gesture creeps in. The classic becomes fragile. Precisely for this reason, it is contemporary.

Freestyle is Punk!

The body moves through a system that constrains it.

Layers, volumes, materials: every element introduces resistance; movement exists, but it is never complete. The structure accompanies the gesture yet holds it back. Layers clash, proportions shift, alignments are lost, yet the body adapts. Freedom is a construction. Precisely for this reason, it is fragile.

Romance is Punk!

Matter is passed through, compressed, and transformed.

Every surface retains the body’s passage, preserves its tension, and memorizes it. The traces are the result of contact, pressure, and lived time. The garments are in constant transformation. Intimacy is perceived in proximity and detail, through tension giving rise to a new form of romanticism.

The aesthetic of TheCube Archive, created by Stefano and Corinna Chiassai, is in a state of constant transformation. It is a carefully crafted balance in which each element relates to the others. In this space, dressing is a conscious act in constant evolution, a way of inhabiting the present and transforming it into language.
