MU SINTESI AND MU TENDENZE SOSTENIBILITÀ
Pathways to discover the quality and level of research featured by the exhibitors of Milano Unica
To promote the expertise of the exhibitor companies, Milano Unica offers visitors useful tools to navigate materials, processes, and production methods. The goal is to create bridges between manufacturers and new opportunity seekers by providing clear, immediate content that helps people understand product quality and the specific features of collections. Milano Unica has developed MU Sintesi and MU Tendenze Sostenibilità to help buyers, professionals, and operators better understand the trade show offering.
MU Sintesi
The MU Sintesi areas, located in each hall, are designed as tactile sample catalogues divided by product type. These materials are selected autonomously by the participating companies and not necessarily linked to Milano Unica's Tendenze, but they are meant to offer an immediate and representative overview of the exhibitors’ identity. An intuitive path has been attentively developed for consultation, highlighting the characteristics of the materials to facilitate the analysis and appreciation by sector operators. The product areas include:
- Hall 8: Moda In Accessories
- Hall 12: Moda In Fabrics, including Lace & Embroidery, Silky Print, and Tecno
- Hall 16: Moda In Fabrics, including Cotton Woolly and Knit
- Hall 20: Shirt Avenue
Each company is given a product display that can be personalized to best express the company’s identity, expertise, and product quality. In addition, next to each product display, a QR code allows users to land on the company’s page on e-MilanoUnica Connect to retrieve more information through an immediate digital exploration. While this is a form of integrated visibility for exhibitors, it is a simple and user-friendly tool for visitors to learn more about the products on display in each hall.
MU Tendenze Sostenibilità
Located at the entrance to Hall 8, the MU Tendenze Sostenibilità area is one of the most visited areas of the trade show. Here, research design meets responsible production with an up-to-date overview of the industry’s sustainable orientations.
The 42nd edition of Milano Unica offers an interpretation of the MU Cosmetic Tendenze theme for the Spring/Summer 2027 season through a selection of materials manufactured by the participating companies.
Sustainability is the keyword of the area. Each product features a QR code showing composition, process and product certifications, along with the aligned Sustainability Value Pillars assigned by the Technical Committee. The digital tag allows users to have direct access to information regarding the environmental and social commitments of the company and the steps already taken in this direction. For visitors, the digital tag is a useful tool for making informed choices and learning more about the characteristics of the materials.
