Positive balance: the number of exhibitors and visitors grew by 15%

Shanghai/Milan, March 17, 2017 – The 11th edition of Milano Unica Shanghai closed successfully with an increased number of both exhibitors and visitors (+15%) compared to the past March 2016 edition.

This data confirms the growing importance of the Chinese market for Italian businesses.
China and Hong Kong are, in fact, the leading export market for Italian textiles with an overall turnover of euro 368 million in 2016. Wool fabrics are on an uptrend, both combed and worsted, along with linen fabrics.

The results of this edition confirm that believing in Milano Unica does not mean to taking a leap into the unknown, but, instead, making a solid investment in supporting the businesses that contribute to it,” said Ercole Botto Poala, President of Milano Unica.

The next appointment is October 11-13 at theNational Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
