MATERIALS FROM THE SPRING/SUMMER 2027 COLLECTIONS

MU COSMETIC

The materials received, selected, and on display in the Milano Unica Tendenze Area for the Spring-Summer 2027 season accurately interpret the proposed themes, with a particular focus on the Natural and Shadow concepts, while Sun stands out for its broader and more articulated selection, but still maintaining strong consistency with the imagery and the needs of the summer season.

The materials include fabrics made mainly from natural fibers with treatments and finishes that enhance their sensory and aesthetic features. The more fluid and transparent materials are enriched by luminous applications and allover processes that emphasize their lightness and movement.

The selection also comprises a broad number of technical and comfort-oriented fabrics, such as jersey and knits, which are present across all themes in different weights, textures, and colors.

Prints range from tone-on-tone animalier prints for the Shadow theme to geometric patterns, stripes, and checks for the Sun and Natural themes. Prints with defined designs are less in number and feature more subtle and discreet florals compared to the previous seasons. Lace and macramé also feature regular patterns, with a limited presence of floral motifs.

In line with the fabrics, accessories also show a preference for raw materials, enriched with metallic details or recycled plastic and rubberized elements, confirming an approach that focuses on materials, functionality, and sustainability.

The color palette faithfully follows the proposed color charts, confirming a prevalence of neutral tones (beige, brown, cream, and white) with specific variations for each theme: natural and blue shades for Natural, sharp contrasts of black and white for Shadow, and energetic accents of red, blue, and bright orange for Sun.
