Milano Unica July 2019 ends today, with both exhibitors and buyers satisfied.
Over 6,000 companies participated during the three days of the Trade Show. The number of foreign companies increased (+ 2.6%), while the Italian company numbers held steady.
Companies from the following countries contributed particularly to the positive result: Great Britain (+11%), France (+10%) and the USA (+3.5%), compensating the decrease in buyers from China (-13.7%) and Germany (-14.7%) and ensuring an overall increase in attendance.
Great interest was shown in the e-MilanoUnica marketplace, which was presented in its new edition, open to all exhibitors participating in the Trade Show. Important steps forward were also recorded for the MU Sustainable Innovation project, which in this edition addressed the issue of the relationship between sustainability and style for the first time, debunking the old saw that sustainable apparel cannot also be beautiful and trendy.
The next edition of Milano Unica will be in Shanghai, on 25, 26, 27 September 2019.
The 30th edition of Milano Unica will be held at Rho Fieramilano on 4, 5, 6 February 2020.
