The Exhibition of Top End Textile and Accessories
For the 36th edition of Milano Unica, I want to start by issuing a warm welcome to my fellow entrepreneurs, who never cease to show their enthusiastic faith in our ongoing commitment.
The trade show returns to the vibrancy of the past editions, and the financial data collected and processed by the Confindustria Moda research center confirm the comeback, with a leap forward on the part of Made in Italy textiles, posting 2022 results higher than any registered in the four pre-pandemic years in terms of both revenue and exports: 8.1 billion euro, a 32.4% increase over the previous year. These encouraging figures accompany Milano Unica’s return to a varied and creative exhibition program, full of quality content and futureoriented projects and perspectives, calling for commitment, union and effective tools.
With regard to which I must express my gratitude for the systemic outlook shown by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Trade Agency ICE for the Promotion Abroad and Internationalization of Italian Businesses, which continue to provide their valuable contribution, supporting us in the procedures aimed at facilitating incoming business and in communication actions.
For this season, as for the ones before, we have spared no effort in order to offer you services that would make your three days at the trade show easier, as well as supporting and expanding your international business for the entire semester. The new edition of e-MilanoUnica Connect, our B2B platform dedicated to sector operators, has been online since last December 19th with the Spring/Summer 2024 collections, in support of your companies.
Another service dedicated to exhibitors and visitors is the Milano Unica App, which can improve your experience at the trade show, offering a range of functions that allow users to carry out and save searches by area, country or hall, access exhibitor profiles, locate points of interest, use our free means of transport, download badges and, for buyers only, make restaurant reservations.
