THE MATERIALS OF THE FALL-WINTER 2026/27 COLLECTIONS

Milano Unica presents PERFORMING MU

The materials of the Fall-Winter 2026/27 season showcased in the Milano Unica Tendenze Area are consistent with the proposed themes.

Perfoming Space and Perfoming Bodies were developed by the exhibitors with a more rigorous and intentional approach, reflecting the proposed concepts. In Perfoming Arts, the materials were interpreted mainly through a chromatic lens, using specifically the boldest colors of the color palette and including several prints.

Particularly interesting were the fabrics made from technical, innovative and eco-friendly fibers.

The range of materials is very broad, from natural to regenerated synthetic fibers, used both for fabrics and accessories. There is also a diverse array of finishing processes and treatments.

Accessories comprise processing scrap materials, both industrial and natural, highlighting ongoing efforts to reduce the environmental impact of the textile industry.

The color chart was generally respected, with the addition of some natural dyes, especially for the more sustainable materials, and a predominant use of green and blue shades.
