25th edition of Milano Unica: exhibitors up + 20%

+ 20% of exhibitors at the July edition

Milano Unica anticipates the date for the Trade Show and celebrates the first result obtained. The next edition of Milano Unica, scheduled for July 11-13 at Rho Fiera Milano, has already recorded an increased number of exhibitors. A double digit growth (+ 20%) that testifies to the readiness of the Top End Textiles and Accessories industry to take on emerging market challenges.

The figures
A total of 77 new exhibitors and five textile designers will participate in the trade show. Womenswear also shows an uptrend (+29%), contributing to creating an essential balance between menswear and womenswear exhibitors in the trade show. Lastly, accessories remain strong, with exhibitors increasing by + 19%.

Anticipating dates
This data shows how Milano Unica is the most awaited appointment for the farsighted businesses operating in the top end textiles and accessories industry. The future is undoubtedly moving towards changes and evolutions that the world of fashion cannot overlook. In turn, the fashion system needs to more efficiently respond to the quick changes imposed by e-commerce, the anticipation of collections in the shop windows, the new “see now buy now” formulas and  timing for the seasonal presentations of the collections. With a view to meeting these emerging needs, Milano Unica opted for moving up the usual September appointment to July, presenting a rich program of events and appointments.

Marketing&communication
The organized events and appointments aim to promote the excellence of textiles and made-in-Italy productions dealing with the new objectives dictated by the digital transformation, the growth of communication channels and the cultural changes we are currently experiencing. For these reasons, starting from the 25th edition Maurizio Ribotti is joining Milano Unica, reporting directly to the General Director Massimo Mosiello, as Head of strategic marketing and communication.
